Located at the Hammond Golf (east of Ottawa), Hammond Hill is the first year-round, eco-experience and wilderness retreat of its kind in Canada! With a restaurant, microbrewery, banquet facilities. We are looking for passionate people who want to make a difference while working.
We are looking for amazing talent who want to help us achieve our goal of becoming more eco-conscious, off-the-grid and sustainable.
Some of our inspiration came from documentaries such as the Biggest Little Farm & Kiss the Ground.
We are currently looking for full-time line cooks with 3 years experience to join our growing team. Train under Executive chef, Nick Berolo, as we strive to create an outstanding culinary experience at Hammond Golf. There will be a large emphasis on sous vide cooking making everything from scratch and utilizing our custom-made wood burning pizza oven. We are seeking applicants with a strong work ethic and organizational skills as well as experience in different cuisines beyond pub food.
Requirements/Responsibilities
- Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant and a passion for food
- Contribute to a positive team environment
- Execute all items to the highest standard following recipes and procedures
- Ensure opening & closing procedures are completed accurately
- Maintain food quality and portion control at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and health & safety standards
- Follow all operational policies and procedures
- Maintain high level of food safety practices
Hammond Golf is located approximately 30 minutes east of Ottawa. Reliable personal transportation is required as public transportation is not available to this location.

Salary: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
